"I thought I knew about life with lots of animals, but I’m a beginner compared to Anne Phinney. She knows how to dig upside-down horses out of the snow. She takes goats and donkeys for walks in the woods. She lets pigs snuggle next to her on the sofa. And she does all this in the world’s most beautiful setting. Where can I apply to switch lives with her?" -Ann Hodgman author of House of a Million Pets
