Way back in 1900 Old Forge Hardware was founded and opened its doors to serve the North Country. We've been taking care of the ever-changing hardware and housewares needs of new customers and old friends ever since.

For years we supplied the steamboats that plied the Fulton Chain of Lakes, along with the railroaders and the vacationers, the trappers and guides and local residents.

So you can see, with all that variety of goods needed for these fine folks, we truly became the "Adirondack's most general store." A trip to this little Adirondack village of ours just isn't complete until you've paid us a visit too. We'll bet it's a shopping experience you won't soon forget.
